Acapulco & Cuernavaca
You will first discover Cuernavaca and learn about its history, gastronomy, and local handicrafts. After visiting Cuernavaca we will arrive at the beautiful port of Acapulco where we will enjoy staying in hotel accommodation and spend a delightful evening. We will discover the most important parts of the port, as well as see a worldwide famous show! (Minimum one night in the port of Acapulco).
Cuernavaca is the capital of the state of Morelos in Mexico, known as “The City of Eternal Spring” due to its pleasant weather throughout most of the year.
Cuernavaca is inhabited since 1200 BC, making it one of the oldest cities in the country. Hernán Cortés retired here and built a castle where he lived until 1540 before returning to Spain.
In Acapulco we’ll be visiting “La Quebrada” , where you will see the brave divers diving from a 45-meter cliff, and the Fort of San Diego where you will learn about the history and culture of Acapulco, since it was an old Spanish fortress built in 1617 to protect the city from the attacks of pirates and where it arrived La Nao of China, the famous Spanish galleon that traveled of Asia to America.
